Safonti

Read the web in the fonts you choose.

Safonti is a Safari extension for macOS. Swap the fonts websites use for the ones you like: any family on your Mac, or your own font files. Everywhere, or one site at a time.

What you can do

Get started

  1. Turn Safonti on in Safari

Open the Safonti app once. Then in Safari, choose Safari > Settings, open Extensions, and check Safonti.

  2. Allow it on every website

Safonti changes fonts on every page, so it needs access to every site. When Safari asks, choose Always Allow on Every Website.

Nothing you read is sent anywhere. Safonti never uses the network.

  3. Choose your fonts

Click the Safonti button in Safari's toolbar and choose Settings…, then pick a sans-serif, a serif and a monospace family, or add your own font files.
